Veteran Entrepreneurship Training
The military invests heavily in it's soldiers training and because of this training the military has a great team structure that embody a sense of duty to causes greater than oneself. Our military is extremely powerful due to generations of leaders at all levels that have chosen to volunteer for a series of unique tests of character while performing military missions under duress and often times without all the resources normally required to complete the mission. Consider that franchises owned by veterans have generated 815,000 jobs nationally, according to an infographic by accounting software and services company The Sage Group in collaboration with the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA). Furthermore, the 66,000-plus veteran-owned businesses in the country add $41 billion to the U.S. GDP every year.
When our soldiers leave the military they take this commitment to reaching a goal seriously regardless of their given resources to their new civilian lives. Having legions of veterans who have these traits in our society is a national asset that must be leveraged for economic contribution and development. Taking these core traits and applying them to entrepreneurship is what creates a successful veteran entrepreneur and we are proud as The Disability Chamber of Commerce to assist our Veterans in accomplishing this goal and your donations are needed and greatly appreciated to assist our Veterans in accomplishing their entrepreneurship dreams. Please help us help them.
